looking for information on a Rosannah Micklewright born about 1879 in Shropshire or her family .

very interested in her descendants as well .any info appreciated.especially interested in finding out about her mother name, no of marraiges as I have her known as Lucy, Alice ,also Julia surnames as Nicholls and crossley. A sister by the name of eliza ellen who married a william banks.

the only marriage i could see for a William Banks marrying    was to an Ann Micklewright aat Mt Drayton  in 3rd quarter Sep 1864 (6a1251)

yes i think micklewright was not her birth name but i have my grannys birth cert and it says her mother was ellen banks formerly micklewright. if i could get hold of eliza ellen birth cert it would tell me her parents but not sure what name to apply for micklewright or nicholls

Maybe Rambler can advise ...but it looks to me like we have the right people and freebmd and familysearch are spelling them different.

I would think this is the Eliza that Rambler has posted as Eliza Nicholls that`s how freebmd have spelt it
OR we have 2 Eliza possibilities ?...if so , the marriage of Thomas Micklewright to Julia Nickless points to Eliza Nickless being Eliza in the 1881 census....there are too many names that fit here
Lucy /Julia /Nicholls/Eliza - Roseannahs daughter as Julia ....looks very like the right family to me ..
but we haven`t found an Alice or a Crossley ?...Foxy - any idea how they fit in ?

Rambler ....don`t think I am asking a daft question but
Madeley Wood Methodist Weslyan Chape[ seem to have a lot of NICKLESS baptisms in the 1800`s
would Weslyans spell Nicholls as Nickless ?  if so is there an explanation for it ?
