1851 Census, Stockport, Cheshire - Mellor

I don't know if anyone can help me, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Can you tell me if there is a William Mellor (born America) about 1824/1826, living in Stockport in 1851.

The 1861 Census shows him living at Buxton Road, Leek and Lowe, Staffordshire, and married to a Bridget, aged 45 and born in Ireland, also there is a Maria, aged 23, born in Stockport, William, aged 16, born in Stockport and Mary aged 7, born in Stockport.

Unfortunately, I do not know the surname of the children, but I do not think  that William is the father of Maria or William, because of his age, I am not sure about Mary.

I've been searching for a long time, and did not proceed because it appears that Bridget was the first wife of William, and I have only just found out about her.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

is 1851 Heaton Norris Stockport William Mellor and Bridget Smith

I have searched all the Mellor/Miller that are indexed and he isn't around, cant promise but I will see if Bridget can be found.
