Margaret Griffiths
« on: Wednesday 16 January 13 15:54 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
Margaret Griffiths was a Laundress in 1871 at Penyfan, Mynyddislwyn.
Age 23, birth Llanfair Clydogau, Cardiganshire. RG10/5352/90/22

Marriage to Lewis Morgan 1972 Jun 3rd; Parish Record says father was William Griffiths, miner.
I wonder if anyone could find her in 1861 and 1851 please?

Many thanks,
Rob

Thanks Brevitas,
that looks very promising doesn't it?
Now I guess I have to find another daughter of Joe & Margaret Williams, one who could have had a 'relationship' with Mr Griffiths?

Still haven't got a hit on 1861 though  :(

Could she be the daughter of Ann? Nothing in the PRs that I can see - Williams or Griffith(s)

Have you looked for a William Griffiths, miner in the 1851-1871 censuses?

Thanks again Brevitas.
That's certainly Joe Wms and family.

I guess we aren't going to find Margaret Griffiths' mum & dad.
Your suggestion that she could be d/o Ann Wms is definitely a possible.

Regards,
Rob
