Hi raa...... :)

I think this post would be better off on the Derbyshire board as on census from the 1911 to 1881 the Poundall family are always in Heanor, Derbyshire? .... which come under Basford registration district.

Henry Poundall married Henrietta Watson at Heanor St.Lawrence in 1874

I am assuming this is the family you are researching?

The Poundalls lived at Langley Mill - part of which is in Nottinghamshire and part in Derbyshire -the postal address is Nottinghamshire - for census purpose it comes under heanor Derbyshire - I knew some of the descendants of this family  - now deceased -if you want any information on them

Are you certain you have the correct y.o.b. for Jack Poundall????

There is a birth reg
Jack Poundall
Sept qtr 1903
Basford
7b 200

Quite possibly this Jack is the son of William Poundall who was the son of John Henry & Henrietta Poundall - as they did have a child who died in infancy

He died in infancy
Death reg
Jack Poundall
age 0
Sept qtr 1903
Basford
7b 200

then there is a birth reg
Jack Poundall
Sept qtr 1910
Basford
7b 258
this Jack was the son of William Poundall - often parents named a child after a deceased one - and so was the grandson of John Henry & Henrietta

Jack Poundall was born 8 Aug 1910 and his death reg was Jan 2003 age 92 Nottingham C89A 689/1C 148
