John Reeves & Charlotte Parton, Ellesmere

John Reeves and Charlotte Parton married on either 7th or 22nd January 1844 (depending on what website you look on) in Ellesmere.  Charlotte was christened on 22 September 1818 also in Ellesmere.

Their fathers are John and Richard respectively, however I have lost John and Charlotte after their marriage.  I have no idea how old John (Reeves) was or where he was from so only have Charlotte's information to go on.  There is a possible death registered for Charlotte in 1853 (no age unfortunately) in Ellesmere so 1851 might be the only census where she turns up as a married woman.

If anyone can find out what happened to them I'd be grateful

Yes I can see JR in 1881 now.I can't find him in 1861 or 1871.I also can't find anything further on Jane showing as daughter of John and Charlotte in 1851.

They are "Reever" again in 1871      RG10 2790 12 18

going to try Reever in 61 too 

There is another son Robert on familysearch that looks like he died before 1851

1861 suggests that the child Mary was John and Martha's born c 1855 so it must be between 1853 and 55 (assuming that death registration for Charlotte is right).  Can't find Mary's christening to check

There is a marriage in late 1853 to Martha Carr on Freebmd.  If that is Charlotte she was buried in the January so a late 1853 marriage is feasible especially if he had young Jane to take care of

I take it the Carr/Reeves marriage was in the Jul/Aug/Sep quarter in Ellesmere?On Ancestry its one of these where all the names are not included!
