.....Cleveland district. Mr Sydney Marshall....Thursday morning...85 years...arrived in the state from Halifax, Yorkshire, England, at an early age, bringing with him two thoroughbred horses imported by the late Hon. Thomas Reibey, with whom lie lived gt for some time at Hobart, but ,later settled in the Campbell Town district,..... 18 years caretaker and a member of the Epping Presbyterian Church, until ill health failed him.
He leaves a widow and five sons, two of whom predeceased him some'years ago, six daughters, and 45 grand and great-grandchildren... Cleveland Cemetery. Rev. W. Gordon, M.A., officiated at the grave. The chief mourners were his sons and w grandsons. There were some beautiful p wreaths placed on the coffin, including F one from the teacher and pupils of the a local state school.
This would give three sons and six daughters alive in 1913.
