St Thomas Eccleston marriage check

Could someone please look at the church records for a marriage 4 May 1874 at St Thomas Eccleston of Peter Heaton to Margaret Smith. I have found this marriage on Lancashire Parish Clerk site where is says Peter's father is Samuel. All my other research indicates Peter's father as James and before I throw out and start afresh I would like to confirm from the original records.  thanks svb

This is what the original looked like and also a comparison for a James Evans on the same page.  It is just that the s at the end of James has been joined up with the H for Heaton.
