Wills proved at the Archdeanery of Richmond are listed in the Lancashire Record Office Catalogue. A quick look didn't show one. Very unlikely if he was an ag lab that he would leave a will.

If you search between 1781 and 1807 for Beesley baptisms with parents Robert Beesley and Margaret Heaton - you should have some success.

For some reason Family Search isn't allowing me to post a direct link to the search results ?

I thought it would be worth a try seeing that his unmarried daughter left a will. Wills can help to unravell so many mysteries. Thanks to  all for your help :)

It's always possible the father of Jane's children made some sort of provision for her ?

You and I share a common denominator within this family - it's just a case of making the connection !

Hi Pets, I do have the will of Thomas Hardiker. He left his effetcst of under 1,000 pound to his sister "Mary Cookson"!!! Can you tell me where you think the connection may be, and I can let you know what documents I have that may help!!! Regards Kazzann!!!

Hi again,  :)

This chap is the common denominator I meant :

I noticed the 'Cookson' relationship on Thomas Hardiker's probate record - it made me even more certain there's a connection, but ...... it's just piecing it all together. Will explain further in my next reply. Hopefully you can see the above image.
