No, I don't think it was a double wedding, I just quoted the two male & two female names on the same GRO reference, in order to try & work out which bride belonged to which groom.

No, I didn't - and didn't get a notification for your posting either!  Seems really strange.  I have checked all my settings and logged out and back in again to make sure they were saved etc.  Am having to click on [New Replies] at the top of the page each time now.

I searched and found other postings by RootsChatters with the same error and I can't find anything else to try.  Just hope it is a short-lived glitch....?

Thank you for this. However, I have no idea of how I would access the personal messages if you sent them - I warned you I was very wet behind the ears.  So, if you fail to get a response from me when you send it, the explanation lies in ignorance rather than discourtesy!

I have sent you a PM with my email address.  You should get an email notification with a link to take you to your messages.  Another way to access your messages is to log on to Rootschat then move the cursor over My Messages along the top of the page.  You can then click on Read my messages and that will take you to your own messages page, where you send & receive PMs.
