Looking for info on Joseph Martin. The info i have is:- Born Whetstone Leiceseter abt 1743 Married Mary Statham 1766 Duffield Derby. I would like to know his parents if possible .

It may be better if you look yourself on familysearch  https://familysearch.org/#start    or freereg  http://www.freereg.org.uk/cgi/Search.pl.   They are both free sites and are the only places that I am able to access for Leicestershire information.

It would appear that Robert may be born earlier than you think as there are christenings on the batch number I quoted for other 'Martin' children with parents Robert & Mary.
