Rev E Moses Evans
« on: Monday 11 February 13 22:08 GMT (UK) »
Hi all - New to this site forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place  :-\  i am looking for information on The Rev E Moses Evans.  I believe he married a local doctor?  He had a fair few children including one called Ieuan Garwyn Evans who become a police officer and then moved to Surrey.   Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

I know they are on the 1901 census because Merfina 1898, Rhonwen 1900 and Mother Mary E are showing in a search in Bridgend district on FindMyPast (my sub has finished) but ancestry must have done something weird and wonderful with their names cos I can't bring them up on there yet.

Hi
In 1910, Rev Moses Evans was minister at Welsh CM Chapel, Blaengarw, according to GENUKI. Books on history of Welsh CM chapels should have info on him.
Moses and another CM minister staying with Rev James Griffith, wife and daughter at Pembrey, 1901 Census. Haven't found his family. At Blaengarw 1911 with 7 children.
Emyr
