Does anyone have a picture, or pictures, of Livingstone street in Clydebank, before it was "redeveloped" ie when it had tenement buildings?

Have you tried contacting Clydebank Library - Local Studies department. They hold a large selection of photographs. You can find them here http://www.west-dunbarton.gov.uk/tourism-and-visitor-attractions/local-history-and-heritage/clydebank-heritage-centre/

Hi,
Just came across this pic of Livingstone Street. Although its labelled as Kilbowie Gardens, the street is actually Livingstone Street.
I may be able to access another pic of the street if you would like?

Regards

David

I think this is a view from the north, looking south, showing the railway below the canal with houses in Rosebery St. in the background with bus going down Kilbowie Road.

Yes, grandparents, now both deceased.
