Thank You. He was born 1883 in London so presuming he went from London ?.

Montague Claude Robert Doughty. Depart Liverpool  Arrival New York 8th Jan 1913. Born 1883 England.  Occupation Architect. Ship name BALTIC. Last residence Newquay. Mother Mrs Churchill, Beaumont St, London. :)

www.ellisisland.org has passenger lists for New York arrivals 1892-1924. You just need to register but it's free. If you check the maifestthere you will likely find even more details.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Montague C R Daughty born 1883 London and aged 29 years. Married. Architect.  Travelling Liverpool to New York on the Baltic arriving 8 Jan 1912. Father T Doughty. 30 Beaumont Street. London W. Going to New York. Brother :- R Doughty  C/O C M Busch. Great Neck  (Next Word Unreadable)

(Great Neck is a region on Long Island that covers a peninsula on the North Shore of Long Island, which includes the villages of Great Neck.)

Thank You so his brother was already there  ??? trying to work out who Mrs Churchil is ? Thomas Doughty wife Susan Godfrey died in 1910 I think.
