STEELE - Carmarthenshire
« on: Friday 01 March 13 18:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can help me. I am looking for some information on the Steele family.

I have a Richard Wilson Steele born 10th July 1812 and christened on 7th November 1813. From the Llandilo Fawr Parish record I was found he is the son of Richard and Elizabeth Steele father is a Farmer, they were residing in the Pentre Cwm hamlet. Searching on Family search brings up 3 siblings Anne, Lydia and John Wilson.

I also found an three female Steele's all being buried in Llandeilo Fawr - from Pentre Cwm hamlet in 1817. Mary Ann 7 buried 13th June, Elizabeth 14 buried 18th June and Frances 10 and buried 24th June. I haven't found anything to connect these girls to the family yet. But they do make the 1800 marriage I found for a Richard Steele and an Elizabeth Wilson in Kirby Wiske, Yorkshire more interesting.

I'd appreciate any help on any of this at all.

Thanks,
Holly
