Many thanks Blue70 for these sites.  There are 2 of which I'm particularly interested in and appreciate having them brought to my attention - (Diocesan orders of court without petition, 1786-1918 (includes illegitimate births) and (Deeds and Conveyances, 1778-1910).

yes , Thanks for posting these links, I already found one will I wanted so thats been great.  I noticed some years for wills you can't search, hope those are available soon too.       thanks so much to Blue.  :)

You're welcome. The link at the bottom is for all my Manx links if anyone is wondering where to view the wills. The wills are great and hopefully the missing years will be added in the future.

There are already will indexes online:-

http://www.iomfhs.im/resources/wills/Index_A-Z.html

and some transcriptions. If you want to view the original image note the registry (ie Archdeaconry or Episcopal), the reference and the film number so you can find the right camera icon on the will links.

After that is the hard work of locating the will. The parish and the reference can help so for example you might need to look for the parish of Malew and a will numbered 20 at the top of the images:-
