You may have this by now but just found your post .peter davies married Ann ithel 19.12.1835.at mold Her parents David Ithel andBarbara Davies married at Mold 23.9.1804  Ann ithel name from birth cert of Amelia Davies, sister to Sarah Elizabeth and Edward Davies (my gggfather )

Thanks for this, BarSum. Looks like we are distant relatives! Unfortunately, I have not yet got round to ordering the birth certificate of Peter and Ann's first child, Edward (b. 1837). However, you have now confirmed the maiden name of Peter's mother, for which many thanks.

I wonder, could you please PM me a copy of Edward's birth certificate/parish register entry, the Amelia's birth certificate and Peter & Ann's marriage certificate or parish register entry.

On my Ancestry tree, I have Edward marrying Ann Leigh, 4 children with Peter (b. 1862) marrying Mary C Williams and having 5 children. Do you have a tree on Ancestry?

Sorry John no birthcert for Edward as he was born pre registration but baptised on 26.2.1837 in Holywell
Peter (born 1862) was married to Mary Catherine Edwards not Williams (she was my ggrandmother)they had at least 7 children
I don't usually use Ancestry so no tree .

Peter (61) and Ann (56) are at Battery Row, Greenfield in 1871 with Ellen (19) and Robert (15) and granddaughter Ellen aged 9. RG10 piece 5641 folio 54 page 40

Peter (71) and Ann (66), plus Robert (brass wire drawer, 25) are still in Battery Row, Holywell in 1881. RG11 piece 5503 folio 6 page 6

Can't find either Peter or Ann in 1891 though.
