Hi, I have found James and Maria on the 1861 census in Shipdham RG9 1239 fol.46 with Emma Kiddle 6 William Kiddle 4 and Mary Ann Mann 1.

I can not find a marriage for James & Maria, I would really appreciate some help to find it to prove father.

James Nichols (Father Peter) and Sarah Ann Kittle (William) 1 Oct 1843

These families are very interlinked in Shipdham, I think you need a very large piece of paper to draw out their family connection.

Susan Manns parents could be William Mann and Mary Gordon married 25 March 1822 in Swanton Morley

As William named one of his daughters Frances I wonder if his parents could be William Mann and Frances Platford who married in Swanton Morley 24/7/1781?

Hi,

I have found James Mann and Maria nee Kittle in all census except 1871, I think the name must have been transcribe wrongly. They bapt. Alfred Mann who Bessie is with in 1911census in Shipdham in 1865, so I think they should be around.

Any help would be appreciated.
