Cemetery at Duror
« on: Tuesday 26 March 13 14:38 GMT (UK) »
I am searching for a grave of a family member who is buried in a cemetery at Duror, which I believe is south of Fort William, near Ballachulish.

My family member was named Catherine (Katie) Alexandrina Mackenzie. She was born on 04 April 1891, and died from TB on 08 December 1925.

If she has a headstone, a photo of that would be brilliant.
Researching the names Mckenzie / Mackenzie from Ross and Cromarty especially Scoraig and Rherivach.

The name of Fraser from Lanarkshire.

The name of Bell from Northumberland.

The name Chilla / Chylla / Chyla from Poland.

I'm wondering if there is a list online or at a local historical society of those buried at Duror in the late 1800's/early 1900's. I'm trying to locate the last resting place of relatives who died in Ballachulish at that time.
