missing from the 1901 census
« on: Wednesday 10 April 13 12:15 BST (UK) »
Help please I have
1891 RG12/ 2419 fo16 p26   and
1911 RG14PN18097 RG78PN1097 RD384 SD3 ED37 SN265

But I have failed to find Sidney William PORTLOCK  b Birmingham 1851 on the 1901 census as he married in 1911 I am also trying to find his first wife.
I think he probably married an Ada Woodall in 1903  but with no death for an Ada in 1911 before the second marriage he is presenting a mystery I have several indicators giving proof of the marriage in 1911 to Emily Jane TURNER
His militia papers say he missed a training in 1902 absent from Birmingham
He went to France in 1914 so I wonder if he had joined the regular army.
Any help finding him would be very welcome

Trees, the Sidney Portlock on the 1891 reference you quote is only 9 years old.
Please can you check your dates.
