hi sami
I am just going to have my tea,
then maybe an early night,
with all the information I have had today and putting it all together
my head is splitting
but well worth it,
everyone has been great,
thanks a lot enjoy your coffee

Hi Patricia:

Just a final note on Thomas. The residence address on the death cert. (2216 Cambridge St.) was listed in the 1955 Vancouver City Directory as the Templeton Rest Home.

I looked through a few city directories ranging from 1921 to 1955 but could never find a George T. or a Thomas G. Wright who was specifically listed as a cook or a retired cook.

hi sami
thanks for that, all these little snippets are a great help
looks like he had no family around when he died,
lived to a good age though.
thanks again

This looks like the death record for Sarah ....

Sarah Wright of Mimico York County (part of Metro Toronto) Ontario
Died at her residence 230 Church Street in Mimico, where she had been for 2 years
Date of death 12 Jun 1936
b. 04 Feb 1884 in New Brunswick
Widowed (I don't think this is an uncommon designation after a separation or divorce)
Father Benjamin Lodge b. Ireland
Mother Ellen Barry b. Canada
Registered by daughter Mrs Frank Austin of Philadelphia
Interment was to be in Philadelphia

It is my personal policy to not publish cause of death on the open public internet ... If you would like to know I will PM it. You can also see the image on Ancest*.com or .ca.
