Burial place
« on: Monday 22 April 13 01:09 BST (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can help me to find the burial place of William Robertson, retired police constable, who died in the Cottage Hospital, Hawick on 27th May 1957 aged 74 years, widower of Ellen Redshaw.  His usual residence was in Denholm.
I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place :'(

gizzysmum I would try Diane at the Bereavement Offices, Scottish Borders Council, Newtown St Boswells for burial details. Possibly the Hawick News for his death notice and the Lothian and Borders Police HQ, Fettes Avenue Edinburgh for his service history.
hope this helps
