« on: Friday 26 April 13 09:11 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

Have these 2 photos here I know for sure who one of them is but does anyone think they are the same woman? The name on the back suggests they are but I don't know ???
Also a date for the one on the card please  :)

Hard to say for sure.
The 2nd. is the oldest & looks pre WW1 with the 1st. being late WW1-about 1920.
In the 1st. one she looks to be wearing a wedding ring, absent in the 2nd.

Thanks Jim, I hadn't noticed the ring, but she got married in 1917, so that fits.

I would say that the lady on the left (black & white) has a squarer chin than the one on the right?

I've measured a few key points on the face on both, and I found that the ratio of the distance from Eye-To-Nose to Eye-To-Lip to be a bit different (0.67 on one and 0.79) yet the ratio of eye-distance to eye-to-chin to be very similar (0.57 and 0.59). Not that I know what I'm doing though, for that matter.  :-[
