ok found the area you are talking about, try this link, it gives the streets around where you are talking about, ok a bit earlier than your time frame but hopefully the names hadn't changed much http://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/sidebyside.cfm#zoom=17&lat=53.4634&lon=-2.2330&layers=171&right=BingHyb

i know there are some experienced tracers here and I'm grateful for help and advice. I've never tried to find a street as well as a person.
Nellie lived in the all saints/oxford grove area of Manchester and as I said before her house went in early 70's for slum clearance. I know when and where she died.

As a kid I visited her regularly up to the age of 14 when the family had a fall out and she moved. I tried to find her in the 70's before computer's without sucess.

It was with great regret that I learnt she only died in the 90's and I didn't know; when you are a kid everyone seems old and I presumed she died in the 70's.

My reason for coming on here was to get advice about her address in the 70's. That was the house we had so many happy times. I was hoping to find the address and maybe a photo of the street on the Manchester archives.
I don't remember the address and I don't have any relatives to ask. I may never find it but thank you all for your kindness

Hello,
I'm trying to think of other means of finding her address.
Did she die in hospital or at home? Her address might be on the death certificate if you haven't got it. Are there other family members in the  grave who could be traced? I tried the Manchester cemeteries but Momo wasn't recognised.
