1852 Court Record - what was he accused of??
« on: Thursday 02 May 13 23:53 BST (UK) »
This one has me stumped so would appreciate any help. It's the court record from Bedford for March 1852 showing one of my ancestors being acquitted of something....but am not sure what! Maybe housebreaking? Occupation would have been a butcher if that is any help.

Thanks for any light anyone can shed on it.

Mind he was acquitted, so must have had less than 1% equine DNA ;)

This was either the father (born 1802 and who ended up in the work house after his wife died of arsenic poisoning, and whose sons refused to pay the maintenance for him) or the son (born 1824 who also ended up in the work house). I do like it when my ancestors are interesting!

Thank you so much for the help with it.
