Do you have the marriage certificate? it should list names and occupations of both fathers. You don't give any indication of their ages- have you worked that out via death certificates, census records, etc.? Civil registration of birthers started in 1864 so if they were born 1864 or later there should be a birth certificate which will give you the names of both parents as well as an exact residence for the family at that time. If born before 1864 then you will need to see if church records for that period survive.
