Any chance of an exact birth date for Lily Root ?

Could this be a possibility can't count it on or discount it at the moment  ??? Can see a death record for a Lily Root Kirkland  burial Mount Pleasant York (Toronto), Ontario, Canada.
Lily Root born February 8, 1901 – died February 25, 1987

Second wife of Lloyd Kirkland, his first wife died in 16 July 1935 so the marriage would have been after that date which might be why we can't see the details (privacy laws etc) (Anyway its just a thought or possibility.)

Presume Lily was the daughter of John Charles Root (brother of Bertram Root  Snr) born 5 Apr 1868 and died July 1912 in  Sutton, Surrey. Mother Margaret Gardener  ??? If so she was 7 weeks old on the 1901 UK census so the Feb birth date above would fit very nicely  ???

Lily Kirkland's obituary is in the Toronto Star, Feb 26, 1987 page G12 (see the pagesofthepast site... a paid site, but not expensive).  It says she was the wife of the late Lloyd Kirkland.  It lists a son and granddaughter.  Also a niece and a nephew and 3 great nieces.  (I won't name these people, because they may still be living).  The obit says Lily was the cousin of Elva Honsberger and Violet Bentley.

The reference to Violet confirms Sandra's theory :)
