James Ramshaw Thompson  born abt 1851 son of Mary Ann Thompson who married a John Rudkin in 1858
Does anyone know any further information re James and his mother Mary ?

There are 2 marriages recorded in Oakham in 1858 for a John Rudkin which have a Mary Ann Thompson on the same page.  One in the September qtr and the other in the December qtr

This is the 1861 entry for Empingham where there are 2 sons called James.  James Thompson is shown as son - not stepson and all others are Rudkin.  There are other children born before the 1858 marriage so was John previously married.  All b Empingham except Mary
