Finding Timothy!
« on: Sunday 12 May 13 13:28 BST (UK) »
Well, I think I found him!!  :o Timothy Jones, blacksmith at Dolfor who died sometime before 1828 but who isn't buried at either Dolfor or Kerry.

I was in Cardiff's rather lovely Central Library the other day using the internet to reply to an e-mail and I though I'd just have a quick check on findmypast (I don't currently subscribe); I checked burial records for Montgomeryshire and there was a Timothy Jones, abode Kerry, buried 28 Jan 1824 aged 35 at St Llonio, Llandinam. Llandinam!!  ::)

So then, the next mystery to solve is why he was buried in Llandinam?  He was married in Llangurig and I couldn't find any evidence so say that he was born there so perhaps I should look to see if he came from Llandinam originally.

As always, I welcome your thoughts and comments
