Hi, thanks for this detail about my Auntie Mary Ann (Nan) and her family.
I discussed this with my mother Hannah recently and it brought back some good memories tinged with sadness as she has survived all her siblings including Nan.
Unfortunately, to some degree,  my parents moved to England in 1952 and then to Australia in 1983 so I have had limited contact with the family in Ireland but enjoyed visiting Baltinglass in 1990 when I met Nan and her second husband Tom Morehouse. My mother is 99 now and lives in Adelaide and still talks of the school in Shillelagh, Sunday School in Coolkenno and times at Crab Lane Cross Roads. It must have been a very difficult time after her mother passed away in the 1920's. Thanks for your research and information. Kind regards, John Tutty

Many thanks for your information regarding your mother. If you have any information on her siblings Kathleen and Robert William I would be very grateful.  I am related by marriage to Kathleen Joan Driver of Aghold. Please pass on her regards.

Thanks for your reply.
My uncle Robert William Driver joined the RAF towards the end of the war for a short time, returned to Ireland to stay with my parents who were farming at Gibstown, County Wicklow for a year or so before going to England. He lived the rest of his life in Watford, Hertfordshire married Julie and had a son Anthony. Uncle Robbie unfortunately contracted mesothelioma and died in the mid 80's aged about 60.
Aunt Kathleen also lived in England, in Basingstoke, Hampshire after marrying George Saitch and passed away in approx 2009 (early 90's??). Apologies I do not have exact dates at this stage but I will email my sister (who lives in Lincolnshire not far from where my parents had a dairy farm). Regards John Tutty
