Hi All,
Could some one please help in discovering the marriage of my G.G.Parents.  Annie [Anne]Maloney and William Smith[Smyth] about 1840 -1850., in Clare Ireland. and if lucky can they give me all details how to purchase  the certificate. Awaiting your replies wegsgirl

at family search.org ireland marriages 1619/1898 William Smith to Anne Maloney 4th Aug 1845 at Clareabbey Clare Ireland.sorry im not very good on computer to make link for you.

if they are not catholic you may be able to get a copy. catholic registration only started in 1864 other denominations from 1845.

This is a civil marriage record so you will be able to get a marriage cert for this couple.  You can order the cert from www.groireland.ie. You need to give all the information listed above.

Information given on the cert : their names and occupations, place where they lived at time of marriage, names of their fathers and fathers' occupations.  Names of witnesses.  Ages are not always given, if they are over 21, sometimes you see FA (Full Age).
