Hi again, As I was fostered/then adopted from Grants nursing home a counsellor suggested that there must have been money around. As far as I can remember (I visited there often as a small child in the 1950 ) it was not an unmarried mothers home  it eventually nursed older people only .It was run by the Grants.my memory mother & daughter .I can remember seeing the older lady laid out..... they really knew how to mind children back then   ah well!! Why I mentioned the church was you may get information on a long baptismal cert as I did   do You know the other weird thing why I decided to follow the topic is not alone was I born there but my name on my birth cert is Mary Buckley though later in the 40s.  Wow   .... regards.

I have just read these messages. I am very interested to know if you found out anything about 81 South Mall. My mother was born there in June 1937 and I am trying to trace her family ?
