Searching for a baptism for Mary Ann Maul[e] born in 1870 in Gunthorpe Nottingham.

I presume you have the 1871 and 1881 census information? (just ask if you don't)

I also presume there is a question over Mary Ann's parentage?
She is granddaughter  in one census, and daughter in the other! ::)

If you can't find her baptism, then the birth certificate should mention both parents - unless some fibs were told!

As far as I can see, the parish for Gunthorpe would be Elston.
Possibly East Stoke.

17-10-1868 Mary Ann dau of William and Ann MAULE father a bricklayer.
The church for baptisms from Gunthorpe would be Lowdham. In fact there are several Maule baptisms there with the families abode being Gunthorpe, but no Mary Ann.
