Richard Stephenson Talbot

I am a direct descendant of an Irish Talbot born in Phibsboro, Dublin.

This gentleman's name was Richard Stephenson Talbot and his wife was Mary, they married in Phibsboro and moved their small family to London.  I am looking for any person who has information about this family and in particular Richard's parents (John and Lucinda).

Do you have information about surviving relatives or past family history or other links which might assist in my tracing the family.

I am currently living in Western Australia and would appreciate any helpful suggestion or information which might put me on the right track to confirming the registered existence of my family's past history.

I know that this is probably not so relevant to you, but...
the Talbot family resided for several centuries in malahide
castle, they were the local lords.

Malahide is in Co.Dublin.

I lived on Talbot Road in malahide for several years.

Thank you for responding, Richard was born in 1837. I hope to be visiting Dublin later this year and will be looking to visit any office/s that might be able to assist with DMP information of service, etc.

I have found considerable history re the Malahide Talbots but find no evidence our lines meet and do not wish to pursue that avenue.  Rose Talbot, the last of the Malahide Talbot is now living in Tasmania.

What information do you have already? His baptismal entry perhaps? Was he Anglican? His parents marriage entry?
