I have a book at home on the history of Ruislip called "A quiet and secluded spot". I know there's a Tobutt family tree in there, will have a look when I get home.
Lavender - Ruislip Middlesex / Mitcham Surrey
Ad(d)away - Burnham Buckinghamshire / Mitcham Surrey
Abrehart/Abrahart - Edmonton Middlesex / Mitcham Surrey / Victoria Australia
Lindsell - Braintree Essex / Morpeth Durham / Islington london
Donohoe/Donohue & Roche - Graiguecullen, Queens/Carlow Ireland

Hi Did you have any luck tracing Thomas Tobutt.  I am at the same spot in my tree stuck on where he was born.  Thomas Tobutt was my 5th great Grandfather.

Any help would be appreciated :-)
