I think you are on to something there, scotmum  ;)

For those with access to Ancestry family trees, there is this one www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/person/tree/171174102/person/242218237209/facts

This has Janet as daughter to John Anderson and Marion Brown Rogerson. A sibling of Janet, born in 1914 is showing as born in Law Junction, Carluke.

John father's details include his birth in 1875 in Carluke to George Anderson (a fireman on the 1881 census) and Elizabeth Scott.

His marriage to Marion looks to have been on 31 Dec 1997. 1901 Census entry:

John Anderson 24 b. Carluke
Maria Anderson 25
John Anderson 5
Geo Anderson 2
James Anderson 2 months

Address: Thornton's Row, Carluke ( I think Thornton's Row was in Law Village?).

Quote
Thornton Row, Law, Carluke (Wilsons & Clyde Coal Company)
This row consists of 8 double- and 12 single-apartment houses; rental, 2s. 1d. and 1s. 4d. per week, including rates. There is no convenience at this place, and the sanitation is in a very backward condition. There are only three open privy middens for the whole twenty families. [Evidence presented to Royal Commission, 25th March 1914.

Farelf, what is it that you want to find regarding this family group?

There are bits and pieces around but we need to understand better what you are looking for  ;)

For example, this is for one of their sons, William Rogerson Anderson who died in 1943 www.findagrave.com/memorial/56074901/william-rogerson-anderson
