Will do gengen but I have one last one for July. On July 31st 1906 my great grandmother's second husband Thomas Walmsley died from enteritis. They had one child together, a daughter Jane, a name that passed on to the youngest of my grandparent's nine children, my mother.
Thomas came from an Irish family that farmed a large estate in Ireland. One of his uncle's stayed to farm this and another, George emigrated to Australia where he prospered in the gold mines.
Thomas had married my great gran 9 years previously and is entered on the marriage certificate as a widower. However the 1900 USA census for Rhode Island shows his first wife, also enumerated as a widow and nine children alive and kicking. It would seem at the moment that this second marriage was possibly bigamous.

One I missed yesterday....
On 30 July 1878 my husband's great grandfather, James Hitch, married Elizabeth Moore at Bethnal Green, London.
On 31 July 1715 Edward Crowsley was born in Kempston, Bedfordshire.  He was my 4 x great grandfather AND 6 x great grandfather - my 2 x great grandfather William Crowsley was descended from Edward's second marriage, and he married Catherine Ashwell who was descended from his first marriage.  Rather complicated to work out!
Conquest, Crowsley, Giovannelli, Kingham, Marshall, Sewell, Wilson, Ashwell

Robert Argyle Green,
born 25th July 1901. 1990

A quiet unassuming wonderful man, who never took a day off work in his life.  He was more than devoted to my Nan and his family.  So very special.
Miss him as much today as 24yrs ago.

xin

14th July:

- Elise Henning, my grandmother, 1870 (-1945)

and her grandparents:
- C. Friedrich August Henning, 1800 (- 1857), bookbinder
- Auguste Wilhelmine Wienecke, 1800 (- 1846) both born in Köthen, Anhalt

They have following numbers in the church book, but had been baptized at different days.
The surname Henning is my second christian name.

22th July:

- my brother, born almost 90 years after our grandmother!

Best regards
Rudolf

I realised after I posted regarding my maternal Grandfather, that my Paternal Grandfathers birthday was July 21st... sorry grandad, he was John Sutherland 1881 - 1940, so sadly I never met him.
He was known as 'a Jack of all trades' and a loving father.

On 20 July would of been mum's 95th birthday, sadly she passed away in April 2014 almost 22 years after my Dad.  Mum was finally interred yesterday Friday 25 July 2014 along with her beloved husband, my Dad.  Mum was ready to go and often said Dad and her family were waiting for her, hope she has finally met up with them.  :)

I will mention today someone from a few days ago
Born on 19th July 1925, my Mum's cousin Edward Thomas Swindells, was born in Staines, Middx

Parents were both from the north of England
Edward was much liked in the family.
In 1940 he was working at Sound City, part of Shepperton Studios.
A stray german bomb hit the site, and Edward and another 15 year old boy were killed
