May P Or F Findlay?

I'm after an opinion please on the marriage of a May Findlay to a Dimitry D Crichton in London in 1935.Is the initial following May's name a P or an F?

I would say F

Compare to the F in Findlay on the GRO index and they look the same

But then there is a May Podmore Findlay birth and no May F

According to the civil registration its an 'F' - but when you look at the actual image of the typed marriage register it is a 'P'.

She's May Podmore Findlay b 1904

Re-married in 1948 to Otis P Gray and died as May Podmore Gray in 1971 in Shropshire

Thank you both for your replies.I think looking again at records its definitely a P.May P Crichton or Findlay married an Otis Gray in 1948.There is a death of a Mary Podmore Gray at  Shrewsbury in 1971.

She must have been divorced as Dimitry Crichton is apparently still alive in 1955.

 ... in which case the marriage index ought to have both her maiden name and first married name.  Does it?

Yes it has either Crichton or Findlay on Ancestry.
