Looking for Thomas Edward Davies and his family, found him in 1901 cencus;
99, Rishton St, West Derby Lancashire;
Thomas Ed Davies b abt 1866 West Bromwich,Staffordshire
Frances E    b  abt 1866 Hulme, Lancashire
Frances E b abt 1886 Withington, Lancashire
Lillian M b abt 1890 Liverpool Lancashire
Beatrice A O b abt 1892, Liverpool Lancs
Frederick N V b abt 1894 Liverpool Lancs
Harold A E b abt 1897 Liverpool Lancs
Florence E b abt 1899 Liverpool Lancs
Frances Emma his wife dies in 1907 living at 39, Third Ave Fazakerley three month after giving birth to a son Thomas William Pettifer, adopted/ fostered out to Joseph and Emily Basford Chesterfield Derbyshire( 1911 cencus). Other than this I cannot find any trace of the family, and wondered if any rootschat members could help me in any way please

Thanks Heatherjulie, I did find this and wondered if it was my family, all the dates match, Also found Thomas Edward in 1871 census in Wolverhampton, but nothing else.

In the light of Frederick's baptism listing his father's full given names as Thomas Edward Prattington, Thomas' birth registration looks likely to be this one

Also found Thomas Edward in 1871 census in Wolverhampton, but nothing else.

Are you sure about Wolverhampton? I was thinking the more likely 1871 was as Thomas E.P. Davies, 5 b Birmingham, in Church Gresley, Derbyshire with parents David A. and Marion L.P.?
