Zillah Gould d. 1885

Can anyone please help me pinpoint Zillah's place of death?

She was b. 1804 in North Littleton, d/o William Horne and Ann (nee Malins), married Samuel Gould in North Littleton in 1829, and all their children were born in North Littleton.

In 1871, Zillah is listed as widowed (Samuel died in 1866) and is a domestic servant in Bidford.  In 1881 she's a housekeeper in Offenham.

There's a death in 1885 in Evesham Registration District of an 85yo Zillah Gould, which I think is her, even though the age is out a bit. 

I can't find anything on FS and wondered if anyone had any other means of trying to find her, please?

Edited: Sorry, mis-read the age on the death of Zillah, which says 83 (not 85), so not as far out as I originally thought.

The one sure way to find if this indeed the Zillah Gould you are searching would be to send for the death certificate.  That will tell you if she is the widow of Samuel.  I agree with you that this is almost certainly her.  Not many Zillah's around.  In fact my sister is a Zillah, but generally known as Billie!

Was hoping to avoid the expense if at all possible.

There are no Offenham burials on the FS website after 1839, so that might be why I can't find her and was hoping someone maybe had the CD ...

Well, she's not in Offenham,'cos I've checked.

Anyone any ideas? [apart from buying the death certificate]

Zillah's burial appears in the register for North and Middle Littleton church as follows:-

Zillah Gould abode Offenham buried 10 September 1885 aged 83 years.

I also noticed that buried at the same church on 26 January 1879 was Nathan Gould aged 40.
