So there is but it doesn't persist.  I just looked at a post from yesterday and there is no modify icon available.

what if you are chosen as a buddy by thousands .... will you get thousands of PMs on your birthday .... and will you get PMs reminding yu of buddy birthdays or buddy posts or buddy new threads or buddy SIT activity... Will you be stalking your buddys without knowing ...

OK.  ;D I will hang about for a bit .....

Can you watch people using this buddy list? I can't see how that would work.  :-\ Isn't it just as easy to just check their profile if you want to see their past posts?

Also, with "ignore", can you still see what the ignored person writes on a thread, or are all of their contributions removed? I can't really see the point in "ignore" either. If you want to ignore someone, just don't reply to them and don't read their posts ....

Lostris said she added me to her buddy list, but I have no indication of that. I added Lostris and Pels and the sticky out thing appeared on their green on-light. Presumably I could see it but they couldn't? Now I have removed both of them from my buddy list - the sticky out thing disappeared. How can I stalk Lostris and Pels if I make them my buddies again?  ;)

I don't think 'Block PMs' works anyway.  Not long ago, I got a PM from a name that I now see on my ignore list.  I don't recall ever blocking that individual.

Remember a while back you used to be able to look at the list of the people currently online, and see what they were doing! (things such as "Pels is viewing Ruskie's profile")

I always thought that was a bit creepy. This buddy thing doesn't work like that does it?
