Hi

You no doubt already know this, but on his second marriage to Florence it says that Sheldon Heber STONE is the son of J/G? Heber STONE and his wife Lucy Elizabeth COLE??

Have you found anything on either of these people?

Cheers

Thanks again Karen, GTR is Grand Trunk Railway which is now defunct I had heard Sheldon at 99 was the oldest pension collector and put many 50+ years into the company. And it appears George also worked for GTR don't know the relationship there? In one census Sheldon said he was from ontario and American heritage and all other census says quebec and Canadian English heritage so confusing to me. Maybe he entered the country illegally to work for the GTR . Maybe his father was American. I tried to stay away from assumptions and only use facts. You are being a great help which I really appreciate
Thank you ever so much
Wayne :)

Pretty sure that George and Sheldon were brothers given that they gave the same parents at the time of their respective marriages.

Birthplace can sometimes become confusing if families moved around a great deal, sometimes children believe that because their strongest memories of living somewhere can equate with that place being where they were born.... and sometimes they just didn't know.....
