HI all
Thank you for the information regarding my great great grandfather re: Ayres/Collins
Looks like my family as it may fit my great grandfather who on 1901 census was aged 31 this would make his birth year at 1870 (i have 1869) and yes my great grandfather was married to minnie born aspley guise - funny though as also on here is Rosalind Gladys Ayres aged 1 born in High Green Yorks - and my grandfather - son of Grandfather went on to marry lady called Gladys who then became Gladys Ayres my grandma

I am trying to trace my Great Great Great Grandfather who would have been George's father (b)
Any information would be greately received - curious

Hi wish I could - only details are that George/William Ayres married Minnie Smith born in Aspley Guise - they may have married in Northants area and then moved to Yorkshire - I believe Minnie may have been a shirt maker ?? and her parents were Charles and Elizabeth Smith - sorry do not have any more information - curious
