Was a bit confused when I read that Trish had put Thomas's occupation down as Furnaceman on the 1841. On Edward and Rebecca's marriage entry he's down as Farmer. Have just checked the 1841 closely and it is Farmer (badly written  but definitely more Farmer than Furnaceman).

Just a bit more:

In 1841, the Edward and Elizabeth are living at Robt William's Yard,  New Street, Mold (HO107/1410/11/8/8).

(Hello Josey  :D ) Not sure if the Wrexham one would be them but all I am 99% sure of  is that the one who married Elizabeth is not the son of Thomas.

Hi thanks for all the help with this - I think starting this thread may have thrown some light on a few corrections which need making in the Tatum family tree!

I had collected a lot of this information from others but it was all source-less and needed cross checking - I can confirm that the ones I am looking for are definitely these ones living in New Street, Mold as it is where my 4xGreat-Grandmother was born in 1838. Her birth certificate says Edward Tatum and Elizabeth Roden were her parents.

So I believe I am still looking for their marriage - but Thomas Tatum and Margaret Cheney need knocking off the top of the family tree as this was evidently false information. I am, however, back on track with it now as the certificate trail leads to this event (Ann Tatum's birth) in 1838.

Thanks!

Henning

Yes, I have read through it , it`s all a bit complicated. I`ll leave it here anyway, it may be of use to someone else.
At least it`s discounted some names in the   family.
