A copy of the marriage certificate (£9.25 from GRO) will show Joyce's age, and the name and occupation of her father.
Using that info you can search for her birth registration (if born in England or Wales); copy of the certificate will give birth date and place, name and occupation of father, maiden name of mother.

A quick look at www.freebmd.org.uk shows numerous birth registrations for  "Joyce Norris".
