When did Annie go back to Scotland ? Help please
« on: Sunday 28 July 13 14:25 BST (UK) »
My g-grandmother Annie McCabe b.1858,Airdrie,Scotland tried to enter US in Oct 1920 at Buffalo NY and St Albans,Vermont.I believe she was refused entry on LPC grounds and possibly detained. She had travelled from Medicine Hat,Canada where she had been staying at 1116 7th Avenue with a daughter. Can anyone tell me when she returned to Scotland after this period ? I'm not having any luck on the sites I've tried from Scotland.
Annie's husband was James McCabe, 38 Philip Street, Falkirk, Scotland.

Thank you Gadget. That is her and a daughter's address.
Annie's husband had died in Sept 1920 while she was in Canada, I'm trying to work out when she would have been told and travelled back to Scotland so if there's nothing in the US around the end of 1920 could be she went back to Canada after being refused entry to the US and left from there.
