Hi again, just enqired of friends and attempted to view via Street View, if the household was in Flash Lane, Flash Lane now appears to be a private road, opposite the famous Fallow Buck Pub in Enfield.

Hmm... Thank you for your help.

Just found the photos of the large property called Wildwoods on Theobalds Park Road and it backs onto Whitewebbs Country Park and set in grounds with a listed 18th century bridge, staff cottage etc.

If you would like a peek (The photos are not good) Google 7 bedroom detached house for sale by Rightmoves. On street view, there's a sign 'Wildwoods'  House. It says that there is an extensive range of outbuildings so maybe there are stables or used to be...

Better go and make dinner now  ;D

I know this is very old, and you may no longer be an active member, however if you would like any info on Wildwoods I am the grandson of the family who owned it until the late 1980s There surname was Swaffer.
