Hi All, I am still trying to get my had around all the information you gave m last evening.

Keyboard 86 gave me reference to the family in the 1851 census. In my access to the census the surname has been transcribed as Ardly as opposed to  Audly stated by keyboard.

From looking at the census image I believe the Daughter Ann was 10 rather than 19 but I am interested in the place of birth of Ann and Elizabeth. Keyboard 86 suggests 'Titlington' my access suggests something totally improbable.

I have looked at a map of Cheshire and cannot find a place called Titlington does such a place exist. Could it be Siddington?
I will do some more digging this evening but would appreciate your  thoughts as their place of birth should help me find them in the1841 census

Thanks for all you help
Regards
Brian

Hi Brian,

Just a thought,
Could it be Tytherington spelt with an i instead of a Y?

Hi again have not checked original yet, but this looks like them in 1841:-

James EARDLEY 32 occ Ag Lab
Ann 25
Sarah 15 definetly 15 on original?
William 2
Residing at Wallwitch, Astbury, Somerford Booths
Census ref HO107/99/ 4/7 / 9
Keyboard86

PS Brian, I do not use as a rule An****ry as my main search site, so what mine transcribes as one surname yours may be another, Ann was 10 typo on my part!!
And in the case of this census ref on mine not yours?!
Pelly/Pelley/Kingsbury/Challis/Nalder/Rochester/Raydenbow
