Arthur Tayles bn 1893 Sproxton, Leicester

Arthur wed Maggie Hilda Whatford in 24/6/1919, not sure if in Kent Ontario Canada, she was born in 1898 again not sure.
They had three children Vic Tayles , I only have his death year of 2/12/1989
Maurice Alfred (Brub) Tayles bn in 1921, Windsor, Ontario Canada
and then William George Tayles bn 1924, Windsor, Ontario Canada. I can not find a birth for Vic in the UK census so Im guessing he was born in Canada as well. I would really appreciate any help with any of the above, all BMD`s confirming and any children they may well have had.

Arthur Tayles and Margaret Hilda Whatford were married 24 June 1919 Kent Ontario. Arthur was 26 years old and a bachelor. Occupation:- Mechanic.   Margaret was 21 years, spinster.

According to anc tree Maurice Alfred (Brub) Tayles died 23 March 2006 in  Windsor, Ontario.
His wife was named as Marie (Toni) Antoinette who died 25 th January 2006 Windsor, Ontario.
The couple appear to have had 2 sons.

Maurice and Marie appear on the Canada Voters List 1963 at 119 Canterbury Street Kent Ontario.
Maurice a salesman and Marie a nurse.

William George Tayles died 19 June 1992 in  Windsor, Ontario. His wife was  named as Mavis Cheeseman who died 17 March 2009.

There was also another son David Ernest Tayles  - he was predeceased by his mother Margaret and father Alfred, and siblings Vic (Elenor), Maurice (Toni), Bill (Mavis) and Shirley (Jack).

Thank you for your message. Privacy laws are very strict in Canada and each province imposes its own even further, research can be quite restrictive. Additionally, some provinces are more research friendly than others so researching in Canada can be challenging. There is no central registries for BMD records.  Trying to trace modern day families in Canada you depend on newspaper announcements, cemetery records, obituaries, telephone directories etc.,
With respect to Ontario marriage registrations, they only go up to 1928 at this time with marriages after that are protected by privacy laws.
The Obituary for Mavis (wife of William) gives you the children's names. Mavis was born about 1924.
The Obituary for David Tayles gives the children's names. Maiden name of his wife Jean was also given in the obituary - Jean nee Keller. The marriage was about 1953 - obituary in 2010 said they were married for 57 years.
I believe the date of birth of the daughter (Shirley Tayles - now deceased) was 15th October 1926 (obtained from a border crossing - Detroit Michigan 18 September 1943.
You really have been quite fortunate so far to have the amount of information that has come to light.
Use the obituaries together with Canada 411 as Val suggested and you should be able to contact loads of Tayles relatives.

Shirley Alice Tayles/Batte Obituary -  Died Saturday, January 22nd, 2005. Shirley was the wife of Jack Batte who died in 2003. Obituary names the children.

Louisa Tayles first made a journey to Canada in 1923. Canada Oceans arrivals (Form 30 A) shows Louis born 1866 and aged 57 years. Travelling Liverpool to Quebec on the Montrose. Widowed. Visiting son Mr A Tayles, 925 Wyandotte Street. Nearest relative in country from whence came was a daughter Mrs Lawrence  Grantham Lincs  - Daughter (According to BMD Helen Tayles married Herbert Lawrence)
Youngest son Maurice also went out to Canada with Louisa in 1923.

On a border crossing for Maurice in 21 st October 1926 his employer was named as Briggs Mfg

Detroit Border crossing - Canada to Michigan - Louisa Woods Tayles - 11 July 1930 - aged 64 years and 6 months. Departure Contact Arthur Tayles. Going to son Maurice Tayles in Michigan.

Border Crossing US to Canada - 14 Jul 1931 - travelling with Maurice tayles aged 21 years. Both going to Windsor Ontario.

Both returned to the UK 25 July 1931 - Montreal to Glasgow on the Letitia.
Louisa to Chapelhill, Ropesley Grantham lincs.  Maurice to 7a Swinigate, Grantham, Lincs. - Carpenter.
