I wonder if Tullich church was the St Nathalan mentioned?
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01oi5/

It's close to Ballater, near the turn off to the Pass of Ballater travelling west. This article says the church was abandoned in 1799, but it also says it remained in use until the building of the Parish church in Ballater, so that date may not be correct.

It was Church of Scotland.
Tullich Church, Tullich, Church of Scotland
GENUKI Tullich Church
https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/sct/ABD/Glenmuick/TullichChurch   includes map location. It had a graveyard.

Glenmuick Parish Church, Ballater, Church of Scotland was founded 1800 according to GENUKI. That would fit with it being built as a successor to Tullich Church.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
