I have found one of his wives, the mother of my grandfather, was Hilda Drake. She is apparently also buried in Harehills. I believe she died between 1945 - 1955. Would appreciate any information you have on her too.

Good Afternoon,

We are desperately trying to find a burial plot of an uncle who passed away in 1951.

His name is Paul Speller (although we suspect it may actually be Adrian P Speller)

He was buried at Harehills Cemetery 1951 and he was a baby.

We just want to find the plot so that we can visit.

Many thanks for any help anybody can give.

Steve

Hello and welcome to Rootschat  :)

His death entry on FreeBMD

Dec 1951 Leeds   2c   225
SPELLER   Adrian P   age 0

The GRO indexes gives Adrian Paul Speller age at death as 4 (months)

sorry I can't help with details of where to find the plot - take a look at this link
http://www.leeds.gov.uk/residents/Pages/Find-cemeteries-and-crematoria.aspx

under heading Searching for burial records
In order for us to check the records we will need the following:
Name of the deceased
Their date of death
The cemetery or crematorium where the funeral took place

there's an email address to contact them

hopefully when pjs12 comes back on line they maybe able to help
